London's very own Doodle King!
Psychodoodl2 - The London DoodleKing has been decorating the tunnels and streets of Waterloo with strangely alluring and beautiful creatures.
His spray can strokes are firmly applied to the physical world, with no traces of an online presence. Literally hundreds of curious creatures look down from the ceiling of the famous Banksy tunnel onto mostly unsuspecting passers by. Painted with great precision on areas impossible to reach standing on tippy oes or a paint tin, with the help of only a ladder, the equipment assisting Michael Angelo luxurious in comparison. Think Ancient Rome, at the Sistine Chapel, the hand of God reaching out from above, judging sinners and saints alike. Now whizz back to here and now, London, the Leake street tunnel, with creatures small, tall, fat and skinny, looking down at an endless stream of people passing by, some with eyes pointing upward to stare back and admire, others to get from A to B.
The difference between then and now? The NOW offers a more secular outlook that embrace our multicultural society, without racial divide, or gender and sexuality boundaries, accepting of us all. And for as long no one else braves the ceiling of ones of London's most iconic underground railway tunnels, our psycho doodles are safe from harms way and able to continue to represent us all. Visit the Leake street tunnel and immerse yourself in free art and culture and find a doodle to call your own;)
